FYI
Blogger is really upsetting me latley. It used to be very easy to work with...but latley my pictures jumble and all sorts of frustrating things. Today Im running into my blogs having random underlined words that turn portions of my blog into advertisements. I apologize if its as annoying for you to read as it is for me to type. booo.

Eli's 2nd grade music program.

I dont have too many great pictures of this entry unfortunatley. Jake happened to get home early from work this day, so he came with Zach and I to watch Eli's music program at school. Due to budget cuts they do them durring the school day now and by grade, instead of all together at night. Which is tough for working parents, but this year I was glad Jake was able to come. I think it totally threw Eli off though, he was acting very shy. Refused to look at the camera (or us) and smile. He did sing the entire time though, so for that Im very proud of him. And we are so thankful that this year the wonderful Mrs Ganske was back teaching music at our school. She is by far the absolute best out there, we love her!
Here are the couple pics I was ablet to get of him. This one he's in the top middle...avoiding the camera.
Being a Kindergartner is tough.
Zach came home this particular day a few weeks ago. He was really cranky, and told me he didnt stay on green. For those of you who dont know kinder rules...they have a card system that they have in class...green means good, yellow means little oops, and red is ooooober bad. haha So he strives for green every day, but this particular day he said he went to yellow 3 times but didnt want to talk about it yet becuase he was just too cranky. He continued to have a rough time getting ready for lunch etc. and ended up screaming at me over something incredibly silly....so off to his room I sent him to cool off. When I went in to get him after his five minutes this is what I found....a sleepy kindergartner. Sometimes when we have a tough day in kindergarten and we're cranky as can be...all we need is a short rest to return us to our happy silly self.
I love my kindergartners sweet pouty lips when he sleeps...
2011 Tulip Festival
At one point in the day Eli decided to have a meltdown, the size of one that a two year old would throw. He was tired, hot, hungry, thirsty, the world was coming to an end and he was not going to let it go without a fight. So these next pictures crack me up, he refused to smile...but pulled off a pretty good pouty face.
