Because Eli had all of his teeth by the age of 10 months old, we always anticipated him losing them before the average age for children. We never thought it would take this long for him to start losing them, and for the tooth fairy to start making her appearance. Eli lost his very first tooth on his very first day of first grade....most of you know that, but I just like to say it because its fun HA! He lost one more shortly after...and then went all year long without another wiggly tooth. That is until summer...then his teeth began to fall out left and right before our eyes. We now like to call him our little old man, and tease him that he needs dentures.
Here he is at the beginning of summer time at the Drive Inn theater. Eating a lunchable pizza, he screams "my tooth fell out!". (that is pizza sauce all over him, not teeth blood)

The other top tooth was so wiggly it began to hang down farther than the other teeth, but he refused to pull it. I'd gag every time I saw him playing with it. I think it took a couple weeks, but it finally refused to stay in any longer.

Then the next night he came running out of his bed, yelling that he lost ANOTHER tooth (this time the bottom eye tooth).

Showing off his toothless grin. Its been so funny watching him talk all month with no teeth, but the adult ones are finally poking through...so we can cancel that order for dentures and stop teasing him....that is until he loses more teeth.
